Yes, we use a state certified laboratory to check for specific bacteria. We can test hardness, iron, hydrogen sulfide, manganese and pH on site. For additional parameters and contaminants, we will use a state certified laboratory.
A softener will only take out so much sulfur. In our area of Indiana, central Indiana, the level of sulfur in your water can exceed what your softener is capable of removing. Another softener or filter may be needed if you have high levels of sulfur.
