When properly maintained, water wells provide safe drinking water and adequate water flow. Water wells should be tested each year for E.coli and total coliform bacteria. It's important to understand what can go wrong in a well that isn't properly cleaned and maintained. Here are some of the most common factors that result in poor well performance:

Incrustation from deposits of minerals
